The PPSH-41 is a Russian SMG from World War 2 used by the Soviets.
It is unlocked at Rank 92!

We can immediately start off with the most obvious advantage the PPSH-41 has, the large 71 round drum magazine.
This large magazine is enough to destroy multiple enemies up close before you have to reload, reloading will take a quite short 2.8 seconds or 3.6 if empty.
It has 213 spare ammo so you have a ton of bullets to waste!

However, it deals a low 25 -> 19 damage and drops at 60 studs while firing at a good 2000 studs/s muzzle velocity.
That is some very low damage if you ask me.
However, the PPSH-41 fires at a high 1000 RPM, a very fast firing PDW!

It has another key advantage, it has higher than average penetration and suppression for a PDW!
Due to the bulky drum magazine, this weapon is quite heavy for a PDW, so movement and aiming speed are limited.

The recoil of this weapon is uncomfortably high for a PDW, along with the muzzle flash which makes it hard to aim, attachments cannot fix it entirely unfortunately.
However, this gun is relatively accurate in hipfiring.

The iron sights are usable for close range, but hard for longer ranges, during firing the muzzle flash can block the entire view.
Alternatively this gun can alt aim using T!

    Obrez Barrel

Heavily shortens your barrel to like a pistol, renaming your gun to PPSH-41 Obrez!

    (+) Damage increased to 31 -> 19!
    (+) Increased movement speed!
    (+) Increased equipping speed!
    (+) Improved hipfire control!
    (+) Improved recoil recovery!
    (-) Decreased muzzle velocity to 1500 studs/s!
(-) Adds choke, giving your gun RNG spread.
    (-) Halved maximum range!
    (-) Decreased minimum range!

Becomes stronger and more accurate up close until 30 studs and is more lightweight but becomes absolutely useless at long range due to a high RNG spread.
Personally I don't recommend this attachment at all.

    35rd Box Mag

Replaces your 71 round drum magazine with a regular 35 round stick magazine!

    (+) Decreased reload duration!
(+) Increased ammo reserve to 245!
    (+) Increased movement speed!
    (+) Increased aim speed!
    (+) Improved recoil control!
(-) Decreased magazine capacity to 35!

Provides better mobility and better ammo control while directly improving your weapon in other ways.

The PPSH-41 has the average amount of attachments like most other guns with a few extra's like the Osprey Suppressor, Long Barrel, Obrez Barrel, 35rd Box Mag and Remove Stock.

If you want a loadout, I recommend you this:

    • OKP-7
    • Compensator
    • Tri Laser
    • Green Laser
    • Default

The PPSH-41 is one of the guns in the game that becomes worse with grips, just like the MAC10!

    • PPSH stands for "Pistolet-Pulemyot Shpagina" or better known as "papasha".
    • This gun had a hard time with attachments when it was first added, It couldn't equip any suppressors and grips barely effected the weapon.
    • Most grips are mounted on the drum magazine.
    • Obrez Barrel, 35rd Box Mag and Remove Stock combined can lead to the fastest movement speed in the game while holding a gun, most melee's are slightly faster.
      • Aiming barely reduces any speed anymore!

My own opinion on this gun

    This old thing, wow.
I could consider this the LMG of the PDW's.
    So much spraying here.

To be honest, I'm not much of a big fan of this gun.
    But it is still decent.
    So I'm rating it a 8/10!

    CamaroKidBB Like in all situations

  • SteveTheIgnorant Let’s be real. You forfeit your long range ability the moment you throw on an Obrez barrel.

CamaroKidBB The only reason I wouldn't use it is that it murders your headshot multiplier
