The Krinkov aka the AKS74U is a compact AK74 fit for the Carbine or PDW catagory, ingame it is in the PDW catagory!
It is unlocked at Rank 88!

This small AK has a higher fire rate compared to the other AK's, firing at 735 RPM, this makes it fit the PDW role more.
Along with dealing 37 -> 18, it might be a weak AK but it is a strong PDW, it loses the 37 damage at a short 32 studs range!
It benefits from above average penetration and suppression for a PDW and fires at a surprisingly high 2000 studs/s for a shortened AK!

It feeds from standard 30 round magazines 5.45x39mm magazines which are reloaded in a quick 2.1 seconds, or 2.8 when empty!
It is one of the heavier PDW's to move around with, try to remember that, but it has very high aim speed!

It has relatively low recoil and stable hipfire, the recoil has a bit of horizontal kick so you'll need to use a Compensator, with the right loadout you can make this gun effective for quite a long range!

The iron sights are unique and quite easy to use, but not quite easy to see surroundings.

    9mm Conv.

Converts your Krinkov to use 9x19mm ammo, also adds an adapter to accept the MP5 magazines!
Now your Krinkov is a true PDW!

    (+) Overall reduced recoil!
    (+) Reduced reload duration!
(+) Minimum damage increased to 19!
    (+) Maximum range increased!
(+) Ammo reserve increased to 150!
(-) Maximum damage decreased to 34!
    (-) Minimum range decreased!
    (-) Penetration decreased!
(-) Muzzle velocity decreased slightly to 1800 studs/s!
    (-) Suppression halved!

Overall, this is a very good conversion which I use very often when I use the Krinkov!

    7.62 Conv.

Replaces the magazine with a 7.62x39mm 30 round magazine from the AK47, a higher powered PDW for you to destroy those pesky enemies that have been trash talking your beloved Krinkov!

    (+) Damage increased to 43.5 -> 23!
    (+) Increased maximum range!
(+) Increased fire rate to 785 RPM!
    (-) Decreased minimum range!
    (-) Decreased muzzle velocity to 1800 studs/s!
(-) Decreased ammo reserve to 90!
    (-) Heavily increased overall recoil!

This thing is a beast, increasing fire rate, max range AND damage?
All you have to do is control the powerful recoil and you have a powerful PDW!

The KRINKOV has quite a bunch of unique attachments being the Long Barrel, Hera CQR Grip, Romanian Grip, Retract Stock, Remove Stock, Full Stock, 7.62 Conv. and 9mm Conv!

    • Since this gun fires 5.45x39mm, this gun has access to the Super Armor P. ammo type.
    • Changing grips (except Romanian) replaces the lower handguard with a metallic one from the AK105!
    • Equipping iron sights replaces the top handguard with a metallic one from the AK105!

If you want a loadout, I recommend you this:

    • OKP-7
    • Compensator
    • Angled Grip
    • Full Stock
    • Default

If you are going to use the 7.62 Conv, replace the Angled Grip with Stubby Grip, this will help against the powerful recoil!

    • Despite the backlash towards AK's, this one was the most requested.

    My opinion on this gun

It's quite powerful and usable at range.
It's quite a special AK, no wonder it was requested so much.

    I rate this gun a 9/10!

  • Most requested AK review on my birthday.
    Because yes.

  • Now your Krinkov is a true PDW!

    Nope, SMG.

  • SKS Bruh.

  • Darkman_Bree it's a PDW originally (short carbine), after equipping a 9mm conversion, actually becomes not PDW.

  • So uhh

    Full stock on AKS-74U?

Would technically be called the AK-74U.

    cod flashbacks

  • CamaroKidBB Ah yes, AK-74U.

    KOV 7.62x39 conversion irl

  • M200 bruh that's just an AKS-47.

  • CamaroKidBB Yes, so it is the AKS-74 in 7.62 (since AK74 is just an AK47/M chambered in 5.45) do not kill me

  • M200 more like the AKS-74 is the AKS but in 5.45x39

  • SKS lemme get this straight.
AKS-47 - The original folding stock, maybe even the original design?
AKMS - the one based on the AKM
AKS-74 - the foldy boi otherwise identical to the AK-74
    AKS-74U - the PDW AK
