Darkman's gun review - MP5SD

The MP5SD is a variant of the MP5 with an integrated suppressor!
It is unlocked at Rank 60!

Despite being suppressed, the MP5SD deals exactly the same damage as the MP5, it only has slightly worse range and slightly worse muzzle velocity.
It is a quiet gun for stealth missions, the sound is not that easy to hear making it an effective weapon.
You won't appear on the radar with shooting, take advantage of this advantage because it will help against pro players who check the radar to locate you!

Overall we can say, the MP5SD has almost identical stats as the MP5!

The recoil is slightly lower than the MP5 and hipfire is also slightly better.
The iron sights are the same.

    Burst Grouping

Turns your MP5SD into a burst weapon like the old MP5SD5 from the CTE!

    (+) Decreased recoil.
    (+) Increased hipfire stability.
(+) Access to 3 round Burst firemode.
(-) Slight increase in kick towards your shoulder.
    (-) Removed Full Auto firemode.
(-) 600 RPM burst delay, it is very minimal.

With this, you sacrifice your full auto to burst, easier to conserve ammo while also getting a reduced recoil bonus.
Hold in the trigger to fire all 3 shots.

The MP5SD has the average amount of attachments like most other guns with a few extra's like the Long Barrel, Romanian Grip, Hera CQR Grip and Burst Grouping.

    • Since this gun fires 9x19mm, this gun has access to the Plus P ammo type.
    • The Long Barrel extends the suppressor of this gun.

If you want a loadout, I recommend you this:

    • Mini Sight
    • Default
    • Angled Grip
    • Tri Laser
    • Default

    • It used to fire at 700 RPM before it was buffed.
    • There used to be a MP5SD5 in the CTE that was just like the MP5SD but it was scrapped at the end of the CTE, the Burst Grouping conversion readds this.

My own opinion on this gun

    Quite enjoyable gun.

Even with the lower fire rate back then it was still enjoyable.
    I recommend it!

    I rate this gun a 8.5/10!
