you all do realize that the K2 and FNC have so little related... the K2 sprouted from licence built M16A1 by Daewoo precision. the K2's bolt carrier group and fire control system are from the M16A1, while the gas system came from the AKM. nothing aside from looks are similar to the FNC. the K2 was initially meant to fire 7.62x39, but it was decided that 5.56x45 NATO and .223 remmention was more cost effective
