List of Toxic Behaviors and Their Definitions/Effects

  • This post is not to be taken lightly, nor is it to be removed. If it is removed, it will be posted elsewhere. This is a necessary thing to raise awareness of these behaviors to allow more people to stop the proliferation. That being said, this is also not intended to be an exhaustive list.

All but three of the screenshot images were taken from Merriam-Webster. Those three were from various sources.

Please keep negative comments to yourself, and off this topic. They won't help anyone.

    Now, to the list:

m16rifleman2 look guys naynaywhip is back!

  • What is listing definitions going to do about stopping any of this "proliferation", as you so put it?

I ask not out of spite or malice, but out of sheer confusion as to what prompted this.

Not to mention that, while not nearly exhaustive as all these definitions are, the StyLiS rules in general cover most bases more effectively when it comes to "toxicity"

  • steamed_ham32 oh, the guy who dropped off the face of the earth when he was prompted to show his MOS after stating he was in the Vietnam War? Cool.

  • lol I remember that

  • This list by itself won't stop the proliferation of toxicity in the game, but it will help more people understand what constitutes toxic behavior. I originally made this for my clan, so we can call people out on these things better, and made this known to members in the competitive community. They suggested I post it in a public forum where it can be easily navigated to. I have also experienced significant toxicity from players in the game, both casual and competitive, over relatively nothing. I believe it is my duty to, at the very least, make the attempt at reducing this toxicity by increasing the understanding of it. Knowledge is the beginning of progress.

I appreciate you asking what this would achieve in good faith, Inconceivable.

  • m16rifleman2 I see. A noble crusade indeed, I wish you luck!
