Overview
The SCAR-L is a Belgian light assault rifle.
It is unlocked at Rank 16!This gun is popular for new players because it's known in the gaming industry, appearing in various games like Left 4 Dead 2, PUBG, Call of Duty series, Battlefield series and more!
This gun has poor fire rate compared to other Assault Rifles, only firing at 625 RPM, Not only that, it only deals 33 damage up close, making it not so strong.
However, this gun shines at range, it has very low recoil and deals 25 damage at long range, Making this gun guaranteed 4 hit no matter what range!The iron sights are not very useful on this weapon, It's recommended to get an optic as soon as possible.
9mm Conv.
This gun has access to the 9mm ammo conversion, this will boost your fire rate to 725, Extend your magazine to 32 and change the damage from 33->25 to 34->20, becoming a 3-hitter up close while losing the 4-hit kill at long ranges.
This conversion is not really that special, but incase you want a stronger close range SCAR-L, here you go!
Attachments
The SCAR-L has some unique attachments, which are the Short Barrel, Long Barrel, Hera CQR Grip, Remove Stock, Retract Stock and 9mm Conv.
This gun along with the other SCAR's in the game has the ability to equip the PM II Scope for 0 kills!
Since this gun fires 5.56x45mm NATO, this gun has access to the .223 Rem ammo type.For attachments I recommend to get a different optic as soon as possible and to reduce that recoil, Suppressors that effect long range damage are not recommended.
If you want a loadout, I recommend you this:
- DDHB Reflex
- Compensator
- Stubby Grip
- Tri Laser
- Default
If you wish for lower recoil, Use .223 Rem as ammo, but you will lose out on valuable damage with that, and you can no longer 4-hit at long range.
Trivia
- Used to have a 3-Burst firemode, This is likely due to some other games having a Burst on the SCAR-L like Left 4 Dead 2.
My opinion on this gun
I like to use this gun, Belgian guns are always great no matter what game.
I do not mind the close range weakness it has, it is still fun and relaxing to use.I rate this gun 7/10!
