Also, for additional info, it kinda blurs the line between just being a semi-auto carbine, which the AR-15 usually is, and a select fire assault rifle. Binary triggers are considered to still be semi-auto by US legislature in most states apart from Maryland, California, Washington State, and I think New York and DC. While the insertion of a binary trigger makes my AR-15 select fire, it’s basically only select fire between semi-auto and faster semi-auto, if you get what I’m saying. However, for all intents and purposes, it’s the closest to a true assault rifle a US citizen can get without either becoming a Class III manufacturer or having to dump tens of thousands of dollars.
