  • RE: This mass deleting spree, it needs to stop.

Inconceivable While that may have not been the most mature thing I've said, I'll admit that, it's also not really particularly immature given the context.

What I find most egregious however, is the censorship of opinion

Nobody's opinions are being censored, if that was the case, you'd see many more deleted posts and banned accounts. Opinions can be conveyed without insults.

Now seeing as everybody seems to be ignoring what's being said, I won't be responding to posts about this topic.

Snip4life The old forums allowed hiding posts, but also deleting. Posts that were deleted weren't viewable by normal users.

I've also reinstated your post, so edit it accordingly.

Snip4life Posts are never truly deleted, they just get hidden from users, so I can reinstate them.

I don't know what your first language is, but what you said implies that you called mar a degenerate.

If that truly was not the intention I'll reinstate the post under the condition that you clarify the message.

    Nums
Again, because you started the post because you got told that you can't say things like you want furries to die on the discord. You started the post under the pretenses that you were in some manner wronged, which you weren't by our standards. In fact the mods in the situation that you yourself documented handled it fairly well. Just because you don't agree with the rules or how they're enforced doesn't mean they were enforced wrong.

To reiterate what you did wrong and why you were told you have to stop.
You said "Furries are gross and need to die prove me wrong", you mentioned another user with the message "whats up disgusting furry" and several other remarks in the same tone.

The post was locked because you, once again, started it under false pretenses (claiming to be wronged, despite not being) and the topic itself was going nowhere as you refused to acknowledge your wrongdoings despite being asked to stop by your fellow posters. The post also started railing towards witch-hunting, even if that was not the intention, it was a part of the outcome.

The rules in the discord channel are vague to keep down the size of the message, however, their longer counterpart is linked at the top of the rules list, which expands on all of them.

I mean, did you really expect anything else? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
He shouldn't even be on the forums to begin with, considering he had several banned accounts on the old one, but I suppose migrating to the new forums was in a way a pardon.

It's more childlike to call people names in general. The idea is to promote mature conversation, without the need for name-calling.

Don't agree with someone? Fine, express that. But if you can't do that without calling them names, perhaps you need to do some reflecting.

Snip4life You started it by mentioning mar and then ended it with degenerate, quite clearly implying you're calling him a degenerate, hence it is degrading.
